08.25.07: Hear my music at Starbucks
Starbucks has just picked a few songs off my new CD, "Waiting For The Black Drop" to put on their next playlist, which will be playing in every one of their Starbucks locations (over 10,000) starting around the end of September. If you are wondering which songs, I'll just tell you it wasn't "Bitch Kitty", which they loved but for some reason thought would be just a tad on the inappropriate side...I can't imagine why.

You're kinda brilliant, Darren. I've told you that before, haven't I! Not only are your songs and your singing absolutely top notch, but you manage to have all that atmospheric 70s-style backing and it sounds just right, not like a pastiche.
I love the cool horn arrangements in the Waitress. Very Steely Dan circa Aja/Gaucho.

Claire and I have returned from our 3 month EU& UK tour.
