Music and lyrics from the heart with passion, meant to make you feel something inside, hopefully a good feeling but nonetheless something.Music don't lie,if it's honest you will feel it.
I have been playing the drums, guitar and have been singing and writing songs all my life,it's my thing see. I love recording music and I love performing live.
Usually once a week I play somewhere with an acoustic guitar and I play a bunch of covers and have some fun.
I have an original band I call SOULVINE.I started it in 1999 I recorded and relaesed a thousand cds under that name with some of my closest friends.Today I have a different lineup with the same drummer Tommy Coombs. We are hard at work on the second SOULVINE cd and it should be out in about 2 months or so.
I am writing songs for the next album, and planning out a short film about SOULVINE.
ready to do some more singin' with us?? ALRIGHT!! Y'all download our tunes if you'd like, spread the word and keep the spirit alive... RIDE FREE FOREVER
Hey Darren! Thanks for the add dude, I've always loved your tunes and I hope you never stop makin'em. I still listen to Soulvine frequently, still sounds great nearly a decade later. "See You Fade" and "Whispers" tug my heartstrings everytime. I sent you some friend requests of music I've done since moving away to Boston, hope you dig some of it. I wish you and your fam all the best, keep on rockin.
Hey bro! I checked out the Soulvine site, HOT HOT HOT!! I am so happy to hear new music from you. Your like a fine wine, better with age. Hope all is well! Say hi to Jen.
Was cleaning up my video tapes up and I found the years of static video we did for save the day.. that was great fun, I laughed my ass off watching that video..
I know ive been busy and havent had the time to say so, but the set you put on at whiskey rocked the house, you soooo made our nights, thanks again, cant wait til the next show....
Yo bro. What's the veverb on the first tune )Dream Over)? It's so great, old school sounding. That's no plug-in, right? I dig it lots. The song in general that is... Going to listen to the others now... Tonight's Ape Fight acoustic on St. Marcs in a place called Bua. Should be fun.
Aren't you that guy from Fractured Mirror? You probably don't remember me, but I was a friend of the Concatos, and we used to watch you practice. Oh, there were plenty of good drummers in Wood-Ridge in those days: Jay Flaherty, Matt Firenz, Ed Geisler... the list goes on. But no one could play a melodic roto tom solo like you, combining all the best elements of both Scott Rockenfield and that guy from Tuff Luck. (And not a bad looking gent, to boot!) Ah, but these days Tom Doherty is a successful lawyer, Aug freelances as a court stenographer, and Stosh reputedely disappeared in the Bermuda triange. Only Tom Weiss has preserved the Fractured Mirror legacy, with a revolving line-up of guns for hire, but the music, while polished, lacks the magic of that original Skeleton Crew, if I may say so...
