Born and raised in Minnedosa, Manitoba, 28 year old Darryl Holyk has recorded four compilations of mostly original material in Nashville TN.
His first album, HERE I AM was released in 2003, followed by JUST ONE MORE TIME in 2004 and D's HONKYTONK HANGOUT in 2005. Darryl also released a special six-song CD entitled COWBOY IN HEAVEN - A TRIBUTE TO JODY SINGLE in 2005. All proceeds from the sale of this CD are donated to Brandon Big Brothers and Sisters in memory of Jody, who was killed in a car crash in 2004. Darryl's current single is I'M NOT INTERESTED.
Darryl has a recording session booked in Nashville for April 2007. He will be recording two albums at this time; a regular CD with ten new self-written songs as well as a Christmas CD. The new CD is expected to be released this summer with the Christmas CD following in fall 2007.
