Hi I'm Darryl and I own Access 1 Studio's.
I have been working Professionally for 25 years in the music and show business industry starting when I was 18 with live bands in 1982 and moved on to live theatre, cabaret and Vegas style production shows.
My studio is equipped with Pro Tools digital recording and editing system and offers full music production, demos, albums, mastering and backing tracks.
I have worked on live shows from system tech to Front of House engineer with some of the worlds leading entertainers such as Diana Ross, Tom Jones, John Farnham, Southern Sons, Rick Price, Tommy Emmanuel, The Four Kinsmen, Barron Knights, Jade Hurley, Chelsea Brown, Dame Edna Barry Humphries and James Morrison. I have also been fortunate to be asked to design and engineer on Australia's most successful theatre show " Dein Perry's Tap Dogs" and "Dein Perry's Steel City". These two shows took me to over 100 cities and 5 continents around the world. I have designed on Broadway to Londons West End and Las Vegas, Edinburgh Festival, and Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. I toured the world for 5 years with Tap Dogs and my design is still being used today.
I was the sound designer of Tap Dogs video recorded 1996 in London's West End and have supervised the audio for Tap Dogs Television appearances from 5 appearances on Jay Leno's Tonight Show , Today Show, New Year NDR Show Germany, Prince Charles Trust, ATP Awards at the Sporting Club in Monte Carlo, Siemens Mobile Phone commercial in Germany/Spain.
Since 1999 I have been the Audio Supervisor and Chief Engineer in Jupiter's Theatre at Conrad Jupiter's on the Gold Coast, Australia. The Shows I have been involved with at Conrad Jupiter's are, Galaxies, Hollywood Legends, Live at the Roosevelt, Harlem Rhythm, Odyssey a Journey To Paradise, Jewel of the Orient Express, Tropical Nights, Hidden Palace, Inneurve, Storm, Rhythm of the Night, Midnight Magic and Zingara.

Hey dad sorry i havnt kept in touch been swamped at uni with assignment after assignment and working almost full time as well....the house is gr8 love it....uni is going well getting distinctions so far which is great...doing a 5 thousand word law report on an appeals case right now...hahaha yes its not as glamourous as on tv, court cases are usually long and boring...uni vac is in bout 3 weeks so ill def. be down to catch up luv ya
your bike is mad. i cant wait o be a black belt one of my instructers is a 5th dan black belt thats so cool!. Stace does tae kwondo too she shows off at home with her swords its cool and funny at the same time.
