In the spirit of the holidays I'm leaving each of my friends a nice comment with a happy memory of the past year. Remember when you and your girl went to Mimi's? It was nice seeing ya then, lets do more of that! Happy holidays!
Dude wassup? Let's see, you will probably hate me for it, but I did indeed see the Dark Knight and didn't love it like the masses. Don't get me wrong, Heath Ledger did a hell of a job and though I'm sorry he won't do any other movies, I'm not sorry his last one was the Dark Knight. Other than that, it seemed to me that Nolan had a very heavy hand in writing/directing. Lots of preaching in that movie--so much so that you can't just go in and enjoy watching stuff get blown up, you gotta think about _why_ it's getting blown up.
Books: If you haven't heard, a guy by the name of Brandon Sanderson was asked by RJ's widow to finish up the last book using RJ's written/taped note's. So, that's in the works. ASoFaI is a pretty good series and I'm waiting for the next book due in October I believe. Only other book series I keep up with is the Malazan Book of the Fallen, but steer clear of it if you loathe the writings of nihilists, because the author, Steven Erikson, appears to be quite emo.
