About me:

.. I'm a bored, but busy, 22 year old college student working on an associates degree in arts and hoping to transfer to a large university where I can major in Political Science (and hopefully get that elusive Masters or *GASP* a doctorate) and minor in communications. I'm politcally active, and a humdinger of a conversationalist. I've volunteered for the Kerry campaign and have helped organize Democratic Party events at my campus. I'm sort of kind of a hobbyist writer. I've done some work for the campus paper, (a movie review I wrote last semester supposedly won 1st in state.) and I do some creative fiction that I never finish. Currently, I sell vacuum cleaners for a living. Seriously. I'm formerly a tech sales guru at Office Max, and once worked at a job in a local halfway house supervising drug addicted teens. Besides that, I've served tables, detailed cars, designed websites, had a radio show, filmed sports, edited a tv show, been on TV more than once, boarded an operational nuclear powered submarine, eaten at the best hole in the wall bbq restaurant in the U.S. (according to Southern Living,) tasted cow's head, drank jalapeno juice and salsa, rolled over a golf cart while I was in it, driven at over 130 mph, outran a cop, volunteered for presidential campaign canvassing, been ocean kayaking, jetskiing in the gulf and the atlantic, broken more bones than I care to count, and free fallen over 300 feet more than once. It's a list, I know, but hopefully it paints a picture of me that shows that I'm willing to try anything once and sometimes twice, and that I've spent a good portion of my life living.
