What the hell happened how'd I get into rapping
Why am I not a rocker it don't matter I aint popular
Wasn't in the In Crowd wasn't one of the jocks
I put a heavy bag in my garage and learned to box
I cut class to smoke weed until I choked
Hated math and English school it was a joke
A lonely child out of control and way to wild
I didn't smile always angry I'm suicidal
Drown the pain in drugs when it's too much to bare
Didn't have cool hair I cut it and I don't care
Jealous of the dudes with friends that had the looks
Going off to college and parties and I'm a crook
Break into your house kick in your bedroom door
Drank 40's of beer until I hit the floor
I never lost a fight I'm lonely every night
I wanna sleep all day can you relate to what I say

When your life crumbles all around then tell me who you know

A known rapper felon they gave me two strikes
When I shot up the block had people running for their lives
Didn't care about mine wished that it would end soon
I wrote a song called More Felonies Than Friends dude
Caught two more cases living in these different places
Jails institutions and death is what I'm faced with
Then faith hit found out about salvation
The living God He lifted me up when I couldn't make it
Gave my life to Christ He changes the way I feel inside
Saved me from the grave and now it's for HIM I ride
