The Origin Of Daryl - by Akira Kurosawa... Daryl's inception as a musical vision began in 1996. Raised by a musical family, he decided to take up Cello in 1994 during his school days. Little did they know that while he was making beats and grooves in the Robot Lab one day... that he'd discovered a secret element which transformed him from Daryl Campbell simply to Daryl (any superhero will tell you the genetic shift makes you drop your last name, and alot of them just change it altoghether). By day, he was a mild-mannered county and school orchestra student, doing commercial and private chamber music gigs . He also studied at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, MD, while sitting in at jazz improvs and jams. Daryl toured Spain with the county orchestra. By night, though, he continued to expierment with the inner workings of The Lab, and trained with Robot Master... He eventually was able to piece toghether songs that he'd had before his transformation. The result was his first full-length LP, Daryl. Since then, he's continued to pioneer with new Robot technologies, and gives lectures on mad science all over the world (one of them being at an art show with visual artist Seth Adelsberger, also in Baltimore).
