The only permanant member of Dasinu is Hans Soeteman. On 'Chaos', 'Swamp' and 'Yankee Bravo' we have mister "Monster Bass" Jim Casey from the swamps of Saint Petersburg, Florida as Co-writer/producer/musician. Check out his MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/caseyspinit), and listen to his tracks. And btw: if you hear a little bit of the Dasinu sound on his track Skin, you are not far wrong. On 'Talk' you hear some Dutch musicians: Philip Platt (bass - Edge of Sanity - http://www.myspace.com/platt63) and Rob Lokhorst (sax - Rob Lokhorst Quartet).
All music is recorded with Cubase and ProTools. Check the Dasinu website for more details (www.dasinu.nl).

Sounds Like
It's difficult to describe your own music, so this is what music lovers from all over the world say:
Epic;
Off the wall, quirky, fusion;
Neo classical influences;
A journey of genres;
Apocolyptic;
A really abstract kind of vibe, kind of like acid Jazz;
Fantasy dragon rock;
A complex, layered and contrapuntal form of music;
Both ethereal and atmospheric and simultaneously grounded and focused. It was also haunting and spooking while still being heavy and rocking;
A more atonal, harder edged RUSH;
Space Rock.
Dasinu is a Dutch instrumental rock fusion band. A mix of funk, rock, jazz, world and metal music are blended into DASINU fusion.
The only permanant member of Dasinu is Hans Soeteman, who has years of experience in all kind of bands playing anything from jazz to metal with a lot of well known dutch musicians (and with even more not well known musicians!). If you are interested in that, check the dasinu website (dasinu.nl).
On 'Chaos', 'Swamp' and 'Yankee Bravo' I have a special guest as co-writer/producer/musician: "Mr Monster Bass" Jim Casey from the swamps of Saint Petersburg, Florida. This makes these tracks an exciting cross continental colloboration.... more music together with Jim is in the pipeline, so it looks like he will be a more-or-less permanent guest!!
'Talk' is the result of a recent collaboration with Philip Platt (Bass - Edge of Sanity) and my old friend Rob Lokhorst (Sax - Rob Lokhorst Quartet)
I'm also very interested in doing projects with YOU. So, don't hesitate to contact me, drop me a mail and we will talk about it. More information on my Website: www.dasinu.nl.

As your friend we like to inform you exclusively about our next release: Gabriel & Castellon - Soul ft. Jerique Allan, available on Beatport & I-Tunes July 27
Soul, as the title is self explanatory, is a deep subtle soulful gem complimented with haunting goose bump creating string arrangements and pounding beats which creates a sinister, yet uplifting vibe. To top it all off, Soul has been given the hypnotic vocals of one of the best kept secrets in vocal county, Jerique Allan. Jerique may not be one of the most prolific vocalists around but his vocal work speaks for itself. So far, Jerique has worked with acclaimed producers like Fedde Le Grand, Robbie Rivera, Jean Claude Ades, D.O.N.S., Sandy Rivera and DJ Jeroenski.
Remixes comes courtesy of that other incredible duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano (Dirty Dutch Music), Little Mountain Recordings finest Muzikjunki and Rotterdam based house producer Andy Callister. Enjoy!
Nice connection! Congratulations & Thanks! The sacred beauty of your music brings great joy to the World of love and compassion! My music gift 4 you: www.Rexsy.com/video_gallery
"In the immense silence of emptiness, Universal Cosmic Energy illuminates omnipresently over the deep space of impermanent existence, where sufferings exist endlessly in the profoundly moving beauty of the Universe. Meditation is the greatest path to the cessation of sufferings under the movement of intelligence, peace, and love."
