About me: A new film from the twisted imagination of writer director Fred Wilder. Influenced by the fluxus concrete poetry of Kommissar Hjuler und Mama Baer, the husband and wife fluxus artists from Germany. Das puppets is the story of a lonely artist Dirty Fritz, that takes a fancy to another man's wife Mama Baer, his feelings grow into lust and he plans to steal the prize of his heart's desire with the help of Gypsy Witch and secret her away to his studio lair of strange puppets and enchanted arts. At first the woman falls under his spell until her husband the policeman arrives and the great battle begins.
