Directed A Shepherd’s Story then requests came in from the Roxbury Film Festival (Boston), the Jamerican Film Festival (Bahamas), the New York and Los Angeles International Film Festivals, and also the Black Film Dot Com tour, which included New York, Atlanta and Chicago, with two encore screenings at the Director’s Guild in Los Angeles.
Director and friend Charles Stone III (Drumline, Mr. 3000) was in Charles’ short film TRUE, which spawned into a series of Budweiser Commercials entitled WHASSUP?
Popped up on The Oprah Winfrey Show, hung out on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno great guy, answered a few trivia questions in the celebrity square on The Hollywood Squares, and a deep discussion with Regis and Kelly, an ABC Disney Primetime Special and over 200 television and radio interviews globally and picked up a few awards with the guys and won the Grand Prix Award, Canne Film Festival, Cleo Award in Advertising and a Black Emmy Award.
Lately it's been a few music videos, Rap City and Weekend Vibe shows under his belt with a plethora of written and directed spec commercials. Wow! And the TV pilots he wrote and directed... "Illtown", "Casting Blues" soon television won't be the same. Oh yeah, and let's not forget about The Bachelorettes tour.

In The History of Black Business In America, Juliet E. K. Walker makes a magnificent contribution to the literature on African American entrepreneurship and capitalism. Shattering myths, pointing to possibilities, and refining our thinking about procrustean racism, Professor Walker explores perceptively a world where blacks have been much maligned and vilified as incapable of mastering simple and/or worldshaking business attitudes and skills.
Writing boldly in her introduction, the author quickly alerts us to the value of the book: "Beginning in l600s, Africans in America, slave and free, seized every opportunity to develop enterprises and participate as businesspeople in the commercial life of a developing new nation . . . Why, after almost 400 years do we find black business activities in the late twentieth century existing at virtually the same level of industry participation as it did under slavery?"
