Recording and enjoying live music (audio and video), movies, camping, spiritual practice, deep ecology, and animal welfare. I manage a feral cat colony at work and "keep house" for four loving but very spoiled cats at home.
Sounds like it was a perfect snowfall. Have a good springing forward this weekend. What a difference a week makes, right? Hope to get to do a face to face sometime this year...take care
Hey datgirl! Thanks for the ad. I remember meeting you at the Jordan Street a few years ago. You were taping at the bar during a Sipe and friends show. Come on by if you get into Brevard anytime soon. As a little window into our world, I'll leave you with little Duckpond Tv. We've been starting to upload performances from our pottery shop's summer concert series. Interviews and other fun stuff will follow in good time. These videos were synced with recordings made by minidisc in order to raise the quality a bit for internet compression. I'd be interested to get your opinion. If you hit the "more" button at the end, you'll be able to stream a good start on the archive. For a full sized player,go to www. duckpondtv. blogspot. com. Take care. Nick ..
hope that everyone is having a good start to winter. We are happy to announce a last minute show in our hometown of Asheville on December 20th at The Rocket Club. We will be playing with Sol Drivin Train from Charleston, SC. These guys combine fun vocals, lots of percussion and horns to create a really great live show.
The Fourchestra will be playing first, and we hope that you will join us for this show in our hometown.
