Born on the twin island state of Trinidad and Tobago in 1984 and born into a family of music, with a mom who sang for the church choir and 3 older siblings who did the same, music was his first love. In his teenage years he used to listen to the radio for hours making mixtapes of songs he recorded off of the radio. He was very fortunate to be blessed with the funny nickname of "headfones" by one of his friends, simply because he was always seen with headfones on. At the age of 15 he started writing his own raps with two of his friends from school and they made a little rap group called G.V.I, and it was in that group that he recorded his first song called S.A.F.H and it was loved by all who heard it and hated by all who wasnt involved in the process. At age 19 he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he met his best friend Aza, who was also a music producer and since they shared the same passion for music, they hung out all the time, and he started started honing his rapping skills. Also through his best friend he met another rapper called Ghost, who he frequently collaborates with on many tracks. But dont think he is just a group rapper because Trini Shotta is also a versatile solo artist, putting out at least 3 hit songs over the years. Trini Shotta is one of the best up and coming underground rappers that Atlanta has, so keep your eyes and ears open because Island Fever is coming and believe me, you will catch it..
