The Dauphin County Parks & Recreation Department is located in the Tavern House at Fort Hunter Park. This building was originally used as a Tavern in the early 1800's and later as housing for the cook and milking crew at Fort Hunter. The Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of programming for youth and adults, in addition to the programming that is sponsored by the individual parks.
