Influences
I am influenced by all types of music. I was classically trained and performed with the California Boys Choir as a kid, but I wasn't about to be so restrained. Grew up listening to all the great artists. I learned to sing from the masters: Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, etc., as well as the great R&B singers. By the time I was 12 I was in a band and not looking back. Performed all around the Southern California Area at many of the best venues. Some of the bands I was part of were: Euphoria, Lion, Scarlet Affair, Myth, Emeralde, Storm Crow, CODA, Static, Ground, & The Dave Miles Band. I have played with some great musicians that I am proud to call my friends, and I thank all of you for all the music and talent that you have shared with me over the years. I have learned a lot from all of you. I would also like to thank all my fans that have supported me all these years. Without you to listen, what's the point? I cherish you all. I have a company called MILES SOUND MUSIC PRODUCTIONS where we do almost everything that has to do with audio & music. An entertainer since I was 8 years old, I have performed either singing or Djing at venues for thousands of people. I have a recording studio where I write, produce, record, mix and master all types of music and audio for many projects, for myself and others. I am currently working on multiple projects. Among other things, I work as part of a comedy team on TV Shows as a Warm-up DJ / Sidekick with a great comedian named Roger Lundblade. He calls me "Evil Dave" as part of our act , but it's really him, not me, really. We have done thousands of TV shows over the years including 6 seasons on Will & Grace & 7 seasons on The King Of Queens. We are currently working on the TV shows:
''Til Death" with Brad Garrett & Joely Fisher (4th Season), "Rules of Engagement" with David Spade (4th season),and a new David Cassidy show for ABC Family called" Ruby & the Rockits". We have Jason May working on the new Kelsey Grammer show "HANK". I also work on "Wizards of Waverly Place" starring Selina Gomez (3rd season)for Disney Channel with "Those Two Warm-Up Guys" Darren & Ezra, the kings of Disney TV! We also do the Disney show called "Sonny With A Chance" starring Demi Lavato (starting it's second season in Nov.).
