Influences
My influences come originally from my Dads music and in my early years I listened to Big Bill Broonzy/Fats Waller/Hank senior & a whole lot more, but then came Rock and Roll all it had to offer and I was off on the ride that i still hang on to. Now I am influenced by any good music I hear, be it an old song or the latest hit.
DAVE ADAMS was an integral part of the British rock invasion on the U.S.A. in the 60s. He was heavily involved in the creation of the first British tune to make #1 on the billboard charts, 'TELSTAR'. He has worked and recorded with many great names including, Jimmy Page, Graham Nash, Ritchie Blackmore, The Dixie Cups, Gene Vincent, Tommy Roe & way too many more to list here.
His recording work as right hand man to legendary British producer Joe Meek is well documented as links on this page confirm.
He also performs with his daughter Dee Adams (check out her myspace) as The Generation Gap
Dave's keyboard and vocal stylesare definitely one of a kind so kick back and enjoy!
