Thanks for stopping by our Myspace site! We hope you find something you enjoy. Jess and I have been playing music together for seven years and currently we lead worship at Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. If you enjoy the music please check us out on iTunes or stop by the Tallowood Bookshop.
These songs are our stories. We hope in them you see reflected the Great God we serve. We are church musicians with a passion for the body of Christ. We are friends and neighbors trying to figure out how to live in community. We are fallen people and prone to acting like it. But we are not without hope, the kind of enduring joy and purpose that can only be found in the life-changing love of Christ. And these songs tell that story.
Hey Dave - Your stuff sounds great! John has been telling me a little bit about what you guys are doing.... It'd be great to get together sometime! Let's plan on something after Christmas -- Talk soon JG
"Light Of The World" would be a sure hit on the radio at Christmas. There's not enough time this year, but next year you could easily reach millions of listeners coast to coast for a couple of weeks at Christmas. It would still get airplay each year at Christmas for many years afterward... Something to think about... Talk to Christina DeLoach and Scott Riggan in my friends list about their Christmas songs on the radio.
I used to book bands for several Christian concert venues in the D/FW area, but they all closed down... (sigh)... I would have booked you guys for sure though... (smile)... Have a great Thanksgiving with your friends and family!
Wow, you guys rock! haha... I just bought your CD on iTunes and I've been listening to it. Do you ever play in the Dallas / Fort Worth area? I'll come to your gig. Is "Light Of The World" intended to be a Christmas song? Did you guys write it yourself?
