Adelaide Guitar legend Dave Astaire along with his awesome singer DD Smith will be supporting NovaCaine in a show guaranteed to rock ya.. Also opening the night will be TG Brandenburg. So head on down to the Land of Promise, Port Rd. Hindmarsh & enjoy Live Aussie music.

Dave is musician from Adelaide South Australia. Dave is an ex landscape / gardener whose main passion is music which he has done pretty much all his life. At an early age he started out playing keyboards then at 13 started playing guitar, soon he was playing in local bands including; original rock band Dorian Gray (see song 'Stranger in my Room'), Banshi featuring Aldo Leopardi who has recently released an album featuring songs co-written with Dave (on song 'Love Hate' Aldo is doing vocals) .
Next Dave formed soul & R.B. band The Tramps who played at the Adelaide Festival Fringe. He also played lead guitar on Peter Chants album 'I close my eyes' with the single going top 30 in 1992. He also played with Beyond Salvation-the Angels show who toured South Australia.
Currently Dave is producing solo and combined projects using computer technology and real music to create a mix of rock, pop, & dance.
In 2011 he once again performed at the Adelaide Fringe festival both as a solo artists & with his band The Drink Riders. In 2012 he is planning to play more live shows & hopefully get a CD out. Check out my friend Mattae O'Ryeleah (Aust. poet) whos Poetry is set to Daves music which is on Oceania Waves Radio ambient music.     My gosh, I'm so sorry I didn't see your message nine months ago. I've just been alerted to someone else's message in my notifications and yours is sitting there as well. I haven't really been online much this year as my computer keeps dying and as a result I haven't had anything to access the internet with. My computer has spent more time away getting repaired than it has spent on my desk which is quite frustrating.  I've finally given up, sent it back and requested a refund.. I've only had it a little over 12 months. It's been lucky to have been working for about four months.
