Influences
I'm influenced by anyone who writes good melodies and lyrics and by great performers like Mick Jagger, Michael Hutchence, Prince, Michael Jackson, Jim Morrison. I spent a lot of years listening to Pearl Jam, Powderfinger, early INXS, Live's Throwing Copper Album, Smashing Pumpkins, Dave Matthews Band, U2, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Rolling Stones, and lots more so i guess that's what i'm influenced by.

EP Officially out!
The debut EP from Sydney based singer songwriter Dave Barrie was released in October 2009. Having already seen great reviews early on, Barrie will head on a tour to Qld in November as well as playing regularly around Sydney. The EP includes 5 original songs written by Barrie who has a very diverse musical taste. Listed as his influences are Ryan Adams, Coldplay, Powderfinger and INXS.
