Photography (obviously)
Music (obviously)
Loads of other stuff as well
----------------------------------------
Music
Enjoy a wide range of music, some I rave about & some I dip in & out of. I don’t think you can really categorize music except in the broadest sense however just to give an idea (I know, I know, here I go categorizing things).........
**Primarily blues, rock-blues & jazz-blues from the earliest to today
**A bit of 60s/70s prog rock gets me going - well, that was my youth :)
**Jazz, most variants, but I don’t really understand free jazz and smooth jazz is a bit like 'lift music' to me - no offense to free & smooth jazzos
**A lot of today’s indie rock & guitar led pop hits the right chords for me
**World music especially Spanish, Mediterranean, Latin, Cuban with a bit of Gypsy Punk thrown in
**A soft spot for 50s rock & roll (Holly, Hailey & Berry style) and four part a capella doo-wop
But whatever I'm listening to ..... nothing can beat the intimacy & enjoyment of the small-venue live gig :)
----------------------------------------
Movies
Yup, films 'R' me :) .... anything good, lots of world cinema and classic cinema the occasional bit of Hollywood output (but with that you do have to kiss a lot of old trout in order to find the odd salmon ;) )
Faves? I'd offer up Pulp Fiction, On The Waterfront, 12 Angry Men, The Bicycle Thieves & Apocalypse Now as 5 that can take quite a few repeat viewings ..... but I couldn't say I have a favourite as such.

Television
A waste of time ...
Update: Mostly a waste of time
----------------------------------------
Books
Is there enough time to read books? I try, I really try ... I love the idea of books. I even wander around Waterstones & browse Amazon and think "that looks good!" and then I buy it and take it home and start reading it and even enjoy it ..... but then suddenly I realise that it's over 2 weeks since I picked it up and I've forgotten who's who and what they've done :(. Now I'm no Dostoyevsky but neither am I stupid. I can 'do' book stuff.
So, is it that life too busy/short to read books? ..... discuss

Heroes
Oh I think you just need to search for the hero inside yourself .... hey! that would make a cool lyric :)

An expat Scot now living in deepest, darkest Somerset in south west UK with a lifelong passion for music & photography (in no particular order).
I've been shooting images for over 30 years on a amateur/semi-pro basis and been listening to & playing as much (and as wide a selection of) music as possible for even longer. At the mo I'm trying to combine the two and specialise in band, gig & performance photography .... early days, but promising :)
You can see a selection of my performance based photography in my MySpace photo albums (View My: Pics) however I'm interested in many areas of photography and you can view the full scope of this (+ lots more gig etc images) at my web address below ......
Who I'd like to meet: Bath/Bristol/Somerset/South West UK ........ Anyone into good live music, bands needing a photographer, gig venues needing a photographer, photographers into band & gig photography, photographers into other areas of photography, anyone who would like to get into band & gig or any other area of photography ....... I think you will detect a pattern here :)
