The following great and wonderful people have been kind enough to share their talents when we can schedule time to play together:
Jeremy Behrent: Drums
Aaron Fishburn: Bass
Elisabeth Rose (www.myspace.com/elisabethrosemusic): BGV
Influences
Jill (my wife and friend), Jesus Christ, the writers of the Bible, my children, Larry Norman, Keith Green, Rich Mullins, Sherly Crow, Bethany Dillon, Bebo Norman, Jeff Ecklund, Paul Mannino, Dean Baskerville, Sting, Jeramy Burchett, Tony Wood, Todd Agnew, Chris Kent, Dave Matthew Band, Jim Cole, Rita Springer, James Jamerson, Not 80's rock, Steven Curtus Chapman, David Ruis, the players in the dave boman band, victor wooten, tommy sims, C.S.Lewis, my parents, Harold R. Eberle, Brennan Manning, Donald Miller, and many others. I like what St. Francis of Assisi had to say as well:
"Start with what is necessary; then do what is possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible."
"It is no use walking anywhere to preach unless our walking is our preaching."
"Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words."
We recently returned to America after volunteering in South Africa, near the Jeffreys Bay area, for the past year. As you can imagine, we have been hugely impacted (myself, wife and children). We are hoping to return to South Africa as God would open doors. I could write for hours about South Africa, her needs, and the beauty of the people. We are trying to adjust to American culture….
Musically, we are awaiting the release of a second cd engineered/produced by Dean Baskerville (Sheryl Crow, Everclear) with additional production and engineering by Jeramy Burchett (check out his myspace site).
Please take some time to read through some of the blogs written in process while in South Africa. Time there has changed me significantly as well as my thoughts about the practice of Christianity, music, and American culture.
Thanks for stopping by my site.
Blessings,
dave

"So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer by works, if it were, grace no longer be grace" (Romans 11:5-6), "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and it is not from yourselves, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD - not by works, so that no one can boast" (Eph.2:8-9), "I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing" (Galat.2:21)
Amen
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, In Jesus name, Amen
