My love of music began with my first computer, a Commodore C-16, banging out notes on its keyboard. Next it was a Commodore C-64. My life long fascination with electronic music was fed by in game music and the demo scene, the orchestrations of artists like Rob Hubbard who led the way in early computer based synthsis.
Discovered raves at 14..and never looked back.
Fast forward to London 1999....... I picked up the tone arm for the first time, and was consumed.
Been playing tunes for about 8 years across multiple genres, first in London, then New Zealand. At the moment Im playing mostly progressive house, techno, tech house etc. Recently started my first excursions into production, many sleepless nights ensue.
Currently living in Melbourne, recently moved from, Auckland New Zealand, where I had been living for 4 years after a 4 year stretch in London.
Hey dave, i saw ur mood was "bored" the other day .. hav a kid and you'll wish u could be bored!:-) its full on. anyway took a listen to ur new tune, very nice, u wouldnt think u only been doing it for a year. i guess all our years of writing ourselves off is finally paying off! heehee. im still learning logic, plug in by plug in etc.. still heaps to learn! very little time, im lucky if i manage half hour a day on computer. but is slowly getting better now that bray is 2 1/2 months. i been working on a tune and finished draft version for now. im about to sign up artsist myspace account. i love the way ur tune is mastered with volumes etc so precise.. something i still learning:-)
hey mate dig the tune! i think its more original than that dudes u mentioned in email. keep em coming chief .. hope u do a hard one sometime in da future:-)
