THE STORY SO FAR !!! It all began for Dave in the 90,s !!! having a first love for the Hardcore Rave scene he eventually turned his passion to the clubs. As in the late 90,s travelling around the UK with mates to Festivals and various club nights this has inspired Dave so much and he has not looked back since.
Having being a bedroom DJ it was not long before he was playing at venues and clubs around South Wales. In 2003 Dave was introduced to promoters of Cool House and by interest gave them a mix CD and was entered in a competition held @ BSB bar Cardiff. Dave successfully reached the semi-final and later in the year gained a guest spot in "The Loft" @ the famous EMPORIUM Nightclub for the 2nd Birthday with LOTTIE and YOUSEF headlining. In 2004 saw Dave getting more noticed by promoters and had the pleasure of playing numerous guest slots at Club nights around Wales. It was later that year he was finally introduced to Henry Blunt at Time Flies where the "TIME FLIES FUNKTION" parties were held @ The Emporium with The Footlong DJs and guest slots from Wales,s finest DJ talent. Sadly after 3 wicked parties The Emporium had to close due to safety reasons R.I.P that amazing club….
With regular gigs flying in Dave,s confidence and experience improved, this allowed him to develop his style and make his sets varied as possible playing right across the board and the ability to adapt to different music genres….
After impressive displays from 2005 right through to here in “2009”.. Dave was finally landed a residency @ TIME FLIES and played at various Clubs throughout Wales such as Evolution, Liquid, Creation, Wish, Crobar, Play, Revolution and the newly formed Top Nightclub in Cardiff and home of TIME FLIES events GLAM.
Alongside this warmed up for top DJs such as SANDER VAN DOORN, LISA LASHES, JUDGE JULES, RICHARD DURAND, SEAN TYAS, JOHN OO FLEMING, SCOTT BOND, TALL PAUL, TIM SHERIDAN, DANNY RAMPLING, ALLISTAIR WHITEHEAD, FUNKAGENDA, MICKY SLIM and has played alongside leading jocks ARMIN VAN BURREN, PAUL VAN DYK, ABOVE AND BEYOND, EDDIE HALLIWELL, MARCO V, MARCEL WOODS, DANNY HOWELLS, NIC FANCIULLI, 16 BIT LOLITAS to name but a few…………
Had the pleasure of playing @ 2 SOUTH WEST FOUR / Metro Weekender Festivals in Cardiff 2006/07, GODSKITCHEN ESCAPE INTO THE PARK 2008 V.I.P Arena and this forthcoming GODSKITCHEN ESCAPE INTO THE PARK 2009. Gained plays @ Godskitchen [Wales], Gatecrasher [Wales], Cream Anthems [Wales], Gladrags @ The Space Nightclub Leeds, Revolution Bristol, Club Lakota Bristol, Es Paradis Ibiza, Eden Ibiza ,,,, 2009 Also has Dave making his London debut @ MINISTRY OF SOUND for The GALLERY in July watch this space !!!!!!
Aside from these achievements, Dave has held residencies in IBIZA @ Es Vive Hotel, Eden Rooms, Opium, Savannah Funky Lounge, Shipwrecked “Sunrise” Boat Parties, Electrolick Barnsley North East Eng. Therefore its clear Dave has achieved and experienced some great things to date…………
Dave,s sets always deliver playing a diverse range from quality House, Tech House, Electro, Progressive House and Trance lets not forget his renowned ability and use of Accapella,s, EFX , DJ Tools and a dash of scratching.
Dave aims in the next few years to concentrate on Production, continue Entertaining crowds, push his co-owned brand HOUSE SESSIONS and his honoured residency TIME FLIES to the limit, so who knows what the future brings ?? till then ……
