My music is vastly influenced by the perpetrators of the Blues from the Field Hollers, dating back to the early 1920’s, eg. Charlie Patton, being the so-called ‘Father’ of the Delta Blues. Passing through on the way, the ‘Great’ Delta Preacher Eddie Son house, Robert Johnson and Skip James to modern day luminaries in comparison, such as the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughan
The honesty and directness of the Blues cannot be underestimated or faked, although relatively a simple music form, the passion of the material and substance of the music is unsurpassable.
My aim is to keep this music alive in my own capacity of performing.
