I was born in Inglewood, California and grew up in Gardena and have been playing music around the area all of my life. My father and brother were my main influences and taught me how to play and later I discovered the playing of Buddy Rich, Dennis Chambers and Vinnie Colaiuta. I've played in many different bands, churches and now I'm working on my own music.
