God, Family, Friends, In-vestment & music: The inner-workings of love.
Music
Anything that leaves a strong impression without the need to use a video... Ironically enough, I enjoy listening to orchestral soundtracks. I also enjoy artists who have developed an unique voice or touch. I tend to be turned off by flashy and head-strong approaches that don't have an equal amount of heart, these approaches miss what it is that music is about, which is the bridge of heart & soul.
Movies
last of the mo'freakins, E.T., Mr. Holland's Opus, Just about anything else that some conglomerate decided to put a few million behind in order to mesmerize my senses with.
Television
... is an escape from the reality that my own personal dreams are not being fulfilled, so with that in mind, Friends (because I have very few), Seinfeld (because my meaningless meanderings are seldom humorous), Law & Order (because I'm not that rich or lacking in morals), Sponge-Bob (because my kids like it and I feel somewhat intelligent compared to Patrick Star) Disney Channel (because I am amazed at the power of their encapsulated marketing endeavor)
Books
The Bible. The Dictionary. Copious quantities of Guitar Methods. Help Files in computer programs.
About me: I have an awe-inspiring wife, Alexis, who never ceases to amaze me with her level of spiritual growth. She works wonders with the kids, Ian and Madison, and is a pretty good cook as well. I'm a professional musician by design. I play bass with Tennessee Tuckness - which is a blast!
Who I'd like to meet: Ludwig Van Beethoven, Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, The "REAL" almost anyone (including me), myself (consciously) - a thousand years from now, Jesus of Nazareth, Van Morrison, Frederic Chopin, Gustav Mahler, Andres Segovia, and last, but not least: Debbie Gibson!
CFNI is great... John graduates December 12th from the School of Worship and Technical Arts. Just praying for God's direction for our next direction in life! We've had a few opportunities that we are checking into! :) Our former pastor is now on staff at Trinity... Ricky Griffin. He's great, we miss him a ton!

Hey for a buck you can down-load a song or buy a CD and help this ministry as well help us support Heidi & Rolland Baker of www.Irismin.org Hebrew 11:1-2,6 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
