About me:
I've done radio for... 30 years? Really? The big 30. Damn. I got my first gig when I was 15 at WTWR "Tower 92" in the then brand new "Ren-Cen" downtown Detroit in May of '79, answering request lines for the DJ's. After that, it was on to WSHJ Southfield High for my first "on air" gig! Here's where things get a little blurry: I seem to remember being at some of the best stations in America, including Ft. Myers, Florida, Seattle, Monterey, California, Grand Rapids, Saginaw, Flint and Detroit, Michigan, and Toledo, Ohio. I've worked at some of the greats in Detroit; 93-1 DRQ, Z95.5/Q95-5, 106.7 The Drive. These days it's the daily double at 104.3 WOMC 3-7P and 99.5 WYCD, 7P 'til Midnight. First time for me at WOMC, they have no idea what they're in for...it's my second gig in the radio rodeo at 99.5 I was with them as the overnight jock when they first signed on as "Young Country" in 1993. I know, like I said, 30 years! At this rate, I'll run out of stations to work at by 2015...IF I'm still alive... Which is doubtful. I make THE BEST frozen Margaritas known to mankind. My homemade Margarita mix is gonna make me rich someday, you'll see! Pop by sometime, I'll whip up one for ya! I'm also the luckiest Dad in the world! Love ya 'Lexi!
