   About Dave Garner
Dave Garner is a singer songwriter based in Sydney, Australia. In 2000 he released his first album Nothin' In The Rearview. A collection of songs showcasing Dave's skill as a songwriter, guitar player and singer of an emotional depth that many people can relate to, "Rearview" was supported by many live performances in premier Sydney venues. These performances cemented what listeners came to know of Dave's ability both as a writer and a live performer. As a live act Dave has headlined his own shows as well as opening for Australian and International acts such as Peter Sarstedt, Mick Thomas (Weddings Parties Anything) and blues legend Chris Wilson. In 2004, "Rearview's" follow up "One Degree Of Separation" was musically a departure from the raw sound captured on Rearview. With often sparse arrangements and loop laden textures, One Degree furthered Dave's songwriting credentials. It also crystallised producer and engineer Bruce Williams as a meaningful, vibrant and essential element to Dave Garner's sound. Together the collaboration between Dave and Bruce (founder of audio2u.com) will see the release of Dave's third album. Slated for a mid May 2007 release the third album, Hard Road Home promises a return to the organic, punchy and characteristic roots sound that Dave Garner is renowned for. Hey Dave! Just like to let you know you can check out some tunes and a bio at this site http://www.fasterlouder.com.au/bands/Jd_ReaCTioN , and also, by listening to us and being "a fan" of the band, you can increase our chances of getting in the Garage to V competition which could see us playing one of the biggest festivals on the East Coast. So if you have a little time, it would be greatly appreciated! Feel free to forward this onto any friends you have that might be interested, it would be so helpful!
