Hey Dave, Sorry, but I can't make it tonight to the gig at the Sound Lounge. I had some transport issues, and some other things to do on Friday nights. Please let me know when another gig is coming up, because I really want to come.
Sorry, ttyl

Cheers man.

I think i'll start doing some serious research into the Pearl Mahogany 14x16.5, and probably end up buying one from America.

Thanks for the help.

Man, I'm pretty keen to come to the Sound Lounge on Friday. I'll see how I go.

I can't wait until I get my p plates; I can see myself driving into Sydney to go to Jazzgroove of a Tuesday, and waking up ratshit of a wednesday morning for school.

haha.

yeah man. In fact, I'm pretty fond of your snare sound on 'noumenon'. I want that sound, and the really low, boomy, simon barker rock sound.

I'm pretty sure I want a wood snare; I'm interested in pearl's mahogany drums.

What do you recommend in the way of Sonor snares?

And yeah man, I'm pretty stoked with captaincy. Taking it at the moment as a great learning experience.

Hey man!

How is shit man?

I think you left a 'n' out of Shoenberg in your hero's list.

Shoenberg is a motherfucker.
I've been getting right into 12-tone-technique and shit at the moment.

I reckon it would be really cool to apply it to drumset, whereby a tone row is established through coordination systems. I wanna try some shit when I get some time.

I've got Masso's copy of Jim Chapin's book btw. It's got your name on the back.

Hey man, i'm looking at buying a good snare drum. What do you think makes a good snare a good snare?

Hope this finds you well,
Drew

Yo there Mr. Drums!

Thanks for them drum heads you gave me - they fit. They are really diffrent to what I had on before and it really changed my playing. Now I've set up my double pedle again and am working on some metal. It's amazing how a small change in one drum can make a world of diffrence. It really put me into a new direction. So thanks!

I hope it's all cool with you and your bad boys (did the new toms arrive from the Mel?) and you better keep on that smash for catch!

Peace.
