DJR has worked & performed in various bands with many musicians over the years, including; John Lawton (Uriah Heep), Mike Freeland (Praying Mantis/More), Richie Wicks (Shadowkeep/Tygers Of Pan Tang/Angelwitch), Jerry Cunningham (Sherman Robertson/Angelwitch), Ronnie "Rebel" Matthews (Iron Maiden), Chris Aylmer (Samson), Chris Jones (Bernie Torme/Anti Nowhere League), Baz Nichols (More/Micha Calvin), Pete Riley (Republica) and many others along the way.

InfluencesToo many to list, but I must mention: Queen (huge fan since childhood), the entire Devin Townsend unverse, John Sykes, Alice In Chains, Nightwish, Pink Floyd, Steve Vai, Trevor Horn, Soilwork, Jeff beck, EVH, Journey, Frank Marino, Kip Winger, Peter Gabriel, Dream Theater, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, have been thoroughly addicted to Mike Slamer's 'Nowhere Land' CD for the last few years... what an album!! the list would be endless... movie soundtracks, classical, symphonic, melodic rock, progressive, melodic death metal, ambient, pop, etc. Always listening and learning, it's an endless journey...

History in Brief

English born guitarist, bassist, classically trained pianist, song-writer and composer. Guitarist and driving force behind British hard rock band Nemesis, who gained much acclaim on the British club circuit. Guitarist, lead vocalist and founding member of hard rock/blues band Freefall, a 3-piece working "scratch" band that included many pro musicians over the years. Guitarist for ex-Uriah Heep vocalist John Lawton's Gunhill Tour '97, including a televised live shoot at the prestigious Downtown Blues Club, Hamburg. Keyboards for Italian guitarist Nico Tamborello. Guitars & Keys for British metal band Sons OF Eden. Many bands, tours, deps and sessions in between. Featured in 'Guitarist Magazine' Dec 2001 issue. Principle music tutor for the E Street School of Rock during 2008. Commissioned to compose and produce music for film director Elliott Ashton in 2009, and co-founded the band Lirium with an album in the works for 2010.

Equipment: Siggery, Warmoth USA & Ibanez custom guitars. Ibanez SR05 bass. Peavey 5150 mk1 & Marshall/Mesa cabs. Rocktron USA mk1 Intellifex, Rocktron USA Velocity 300, BBE 422 Sonic Maximizers + various pedals and keyboards. D'Addario strings.

Dave! What a wonderful, kind, utterly flattering and genuinely happy-making thing to say.

I've been poorly with a temperature, cough, aches and shakes, which pees me off cuz I can't make music. But your words have made me feel that little bit better.
