Sleeping-In, Hearing a knock at the door and pretending that I'm not home. Putting on funny accents for people who 'cold-call' my house. Mowing the lawn late at night. Spraying clean, dry cars as they drive out of the carwash. Arguing a point even though I know I'm in the wrong. Threatening my pet cat with the vacuum cleaner (R.I.P. Sharnie...), Nodding and smiling at people when they're talking to me but not really paying attention to what they're saying. Pulling up along-side cars at the lights and frantically pointing at their wheels. Flashing oncoming motorists so they will slow down, even though there is no speed trap. Standing on one leg, like a flamingo, while waiting in line at the bank. Reading magazines while waiting at the supermarket check-out..but holding them upside-down, Deliberately (though, usually not deliberately...) playing painfully bad notes when other guitar players are watching. Going through the drive-thru at Mcdonalds in reverse. Smoking Cuban Cigars. (Quintero y Hno, Diplomaticos #2, Montechristo Prtit Edmundo, El Rey Del Mundo Choix supreme).

Dave - re. George, I agree – he’s a full twat! But the show is MASTERFUL! The way I view it is, they’ve texturized the programme with characters that appeal to our Mama bear, Daddy bear, baby bear story book model (Goldilocks, obviously- motif). Matt- the kindly, but worldly, Daddy bear, intellect/loving model, the other guy (don’t know his name) – mama bear – bit more caring with his critique (usually first) and baby bear George– freaking annoying, and dare I say it – bogan-clown!! (childish, court jester motif). And, to the thronging masses slurping up Uncle Toby’s cereals and buying into the bullshit of “Renovation Rescue” et al that dude is a freaking legend!!!!
