"Daveman" also known as "Maximumstyle" was named Davis Adedayo Eisape when he was born in 1983 in Berlin-Lichtenberg. By the age of six, he, his German mother and his junior brother Kenet also known as "Ken" or "Jung Sun Melting Ice" left the GDR and moved to their Nigerian father who then lived in Lagos, Nigeria in West-Afrika.There he grew up, first attending a local school before he went to the German School Lagos. In all those years he was always the first to raise his hand when it came to music, theatre or sports. He was very ambitious concerning basketball but music always took one of the biggest parts in his life. Also because of the church where he sung in the choir and played instruments. After creating the schoolband "the Lagboyz", he, his brother and the other band members from "The Lagboyz" were one of the schools "famous". In April 2001 a wide hearted mother of Davis's classmates and his parents donated a lot of money for the schoolband "Lagboyz" so they could record their own songs in a professional studio. That's how they got to know "Ras Jude Levi" a Producer from "Jahoha Records" in the Ghetto called Ajegunle, who three years later won the Award for the best Producer of the year. Two months of intence work and recordings followed and basically that was the birth-moment for the musical "career" of Daveman and his brother, The Melting Ice. A song from the Album "Imoshuns" was even played by the radiostation "Cool-FM". That was a great success. In July 2001 his mother, his brother and Davis decided to come back to Berlin, Germany after twelve years in Nigeria. In 2002 destiny led him and Martin Minurski also known as "Freeze Mucky Mc" together at a freestyle session. And that was the birth-hour for the group "Trikolo".Trikolo produced by "Motorotation" since then released a single "Bring you down" in 2004 and the Album "Trikolo" shortly after. It wasn't the breakthrough but through the concerts and studio-sessions Davis has become a more and more round musician. At the beginning of 2005 Daveman started working on his first solo-Ep called "Good Morning Dread" which was released in august 2006 in Berlin working with the independent lable 'split!stereo'. Together with his live-band he performs at street-festivals, in clubs and at various events in Germany. Meanwhile Daveman is working on his first solo- album together with Star Search Producer Uwe Klapdor, which is planed to be released Spring 2008... The future will tell what is still to come...And by GOD's grace it will be a bright one!
