Dave McSpade has established himself as a stalwart of the Swansea music scene, has a fast-expanding fan-base and is currently envolved with various musical projects. He is known for his haunting alt-folk-rock sound and his music has been described as “emotive, well written” and “music that rocks souls”. He is notable for his commanding voice and his unforgettable live performances. He often has various comparisons to established artists (Eddy Vedder, Will Oldham, mark Lanegan)!
Listening to his songs often sparks a reminder of something, something that is always there but you can’t figure out what. His lyrics obviously come from the heart and his fresh sound is something you want to carry on listening to long after he’s stepped off the stage.
The stage name Dave McSpade was decided on for an open mic night and apparently “it’s a long story….”
Although mainly self-recorded rough demos the raw talent and emotion is still obvious to anyone listening.

I kinda like the ideas... not fussed for the vocals which appear tuneless at times, but I totally understand that this is one man's opinion and what I don't like, someone else will love!! haha.
I am interested in your style of composition though... intriguing.
