I used to listen to the radio with some kind of alligator clips harnessd to some metal parts of a wall mounted bookshelf. 1962 I got a clock/radio with a knob that should wake me up. But I used to listen to the radio (WTIK: "The Big Tick") all night long (Everly Bros, Lloyd Price, "Handyman", etc). The window at my room used to have cool NC air drifting thru. Cool air, Dark nite, Hot tunes. 'Telstar' was a "can't wait til the DJ plays it again" tune. Music is a good thing. SN
