David Northrup's skill and talent as a busy touring musician is matched only by his long list of recording credits and work that he has done with a multitude of artists over varying genres.
David's career really took off around 1997 when he started to land some of the more high profile sessions and live gigs both in and outside of the Nashville scene. His long and versatile list of playing credits includes work with Guitarist Les Dudek, Rock Legend John Waite, The James Brown Horns, John Mellencamp, fusion guitarist Shane Theriot and Jam Band Sensation The Disco Biscuits. Country Artists include Travis Tritt (for 9 years) Joe Diffie, Doug Stone, Tanya Tucker, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Lila McCann, Jo De Messina, Jo-El Sonnier, Pam Tillis and Anthony Smith.
Northrup is a member of the band The PacAKracRs and is also a busy studio musician and producer in the Nashville scene as well as an international clinician. He was voted number Three Country Drummer and number Two Clinician of the year in The 2008 Modern Drummer Readers Poll. Television Appearances Include
