BIO
Dave began performing stand-up comedy in late 1997 after realizing that is was his true calling. In May 2002 Dave quit his day job prematurely and decided that he would devote his life to stand-up comedy, producing, promoting and performing in hundreds of shows. Consequently Dave has produced over 500 comedy shows since 2001 and has given many Chicago comics their start.
Over the years Daves act developed in front of hundreds of different audiences in hundreds of different rooms into the whip smart, edgy, and always poignant comedian he is today. His material ranges from relationships and mundane middle American suburbia to terrorism, racism, religion and other hard hitting subjects. Every audience member that has seen Dave perform has walked away with a little something more than just a good laugh. Often times people comment on how one of Daves jokes was used to illustrate a point to someone at a party or the office.
Dave has performed with greats such as Kevin Meaney, Todd Barry, Doug Stanhope, Dave Chappelle, Mitch Hedberg and more. He has appeared on the BBC documentary Letters From America and appeared as a comedy mentor to Maureen on the first season of Starting Over on NBC. His comedy is also regularly featured on XM Satellite Radio. He was also chosen as a national semi-finalist in The Wendys Comedy Challenge. Currently Dave is touring the country and appearing in clubs, colleges, and one nighters throughout the Midwest and running The Edge Comedy Club in Chicago.
Dave has decided that stand up comedy is the one goal he has ever had in life that he has been completely and totally dedicated to, and hopes to advance his career by working his way up the ladder to at least sub-stardom.

Superfudge study.
About me: First and foremost I am a stand up comedian. But I also a comedy producer, writer, improviser, and artist. Comedy has always been an outlet for me since I was a kid. I will eventually piss you off by making a joke out of something very serious to you.
Here is me performing as a zombie in the first ever ZOMBEDY! Show at The Edge Comedy Club Halloween 2008.
Me performing in New Orleans right off Bourbon Street Summer 08.
My take on Religion.
Here is a project I put together called Off the Cuff. The official pilot is currently being shopped around by Ignite the Light Productions.
After high school I seperated myself from all the troublemakers and after floundering through community college for a few years I quit. I decided that I wanted to be a screenwriter, and saw that a lot of actors and directors got started in comedy. So I tried out improv, and eventually in winter of 97 tried stand up. I loved it, and now I am slowly but surely building my comedy resume up before hitting the road. In my fairly short comedy career I have produced over 700 shows, appeared on NBC, BBC, and performed with Doug Stanhope, Mitch Hedberg, and Kevin Meaney among others. I'd still like to be a screenwriter, but all my once original ideas seem to have all been taken in the last few years.
In addition to all of that. I also do programs for nature centers on The Snakes of Chicagoland. I hunt for, collect, and photograph wildlife, specifically reptiles and amphibians for educational purposes. It's always been a passion of mine, I grew up near a nature center that was my best friend when everyone else let me down. I have always had a fascination with animals ever since my brother brought home a turtle from the nature center pond when I was about 6 years old.
Also, and this is where it gets really weird, I am a medium and theorist for a paranormal research company I co-founded with my friend Jay shortly after I got started in stand up. It's called Supernatural Occurrence Studies Inc. I promise you I'm not crazy, we approach the subject from a very logical and scientific point of view. Basically our standpoint is that there is something out there that makes everyone thinks ghosts exist, but it's probably just a naturally occuring phenomenon however strange that modern science hasn't quite grasped yet.
Cooking with Animals!
Me and Michael Sanchez being weird on Psycho Babble.
Who I'd like to meet: Pretty much everyone, I basically joined here to meet new people and get a nice fan base for my stand up.

DAVE! Thanks SO MUCH for the flyers/card tonight at Wise Fools! It was GREAT seeing you! Although I have to say, YOUR profile picture makes me want to hit you in the face with a kendo stick!
Hey DOUCHEBAG, how are you?! Thanks SO MUCH for all of the info on the show man! I will DEFINITELY be trying to bring AS MANY people as I can out to the show on Thursday! Sorry I couldn't make it out this week to get some flyers from you Dave, I wasn't really around on Wednesday to drop by! I'll be at Wise Fools this Tuesday though, so I can always pick them up THEN, if you are going to be there! How much is it to get in if they do NOT have a flyer? Just so I can tell everyone! Also, is it over 21 to get in? PLEASE let me know as soon as you get a chance!
WOW! Hey Dave! Thanks SO MUCH for your ALWAYS LOVING comments! I mean, FIRST with the IMPROVISER thing, and now with the "Place Balls Here" reference, you are just TOO KIND! SERIOUSLY! Although I think you may have actually misread my last comment when I said what I could "POTENTIALLY" have written on me! As I meant it realistically, I think you took as what Dave Odd would like to write on someone's body! But hey, tomato tomAto! And YES Dave, I would absolutely LOVE to perform at the New Faces show next week! Please just let me know the details, and I will be there! I look forward to your next KIND-HEARTED message!
