I am a guitarist/composer who gained notoriety from my release, SECOND ATTENTION. Various songs from that cd can be heard in tv shows, dvd documentary and movies such as; ABC Family’s WILDFIRE, AMC TV, Showtime ReEvolution, Fuel TV, Full Circle the Nate Adams documentary, Keen Footwear, This is the Sea 2, Red Bull and many more. My big hit song, ANOMALY, was also nominated for JPF’s Best Instrumental Rock Song in 2006.
My latest release "Gravity" is a break from the usual instrumental songs and marks my debut as a singer. Several great well known musicians have contributed their talents to this cd. Among them are Mark Zonder (drummer-Fates Warning and Slavior), Ron Wikso (drummer - Gregg Rolie, David Lee Roth, Richie Sambora), Wade Biery (bassist - Christopher Cross, Leanne Rimes), Erik Eldenius (drummer - Billy Idol, Vannessa Carlton, Mandy Moore) and John Cardoso (drummer - East of West).
SHORT BIO.
Born in San Diego, Dave moved to Japan at the age of 5, and migrated back to Los Angeles in 1988, where he received his music education at G.I.T. Dave continued his musical career working with many local bands, and various artists. Extensive U.S. and international touring experience has contributed to his eclectic playing style and grace. Working as a studio musician and sideman, Dave has had the fortunate opportunity of playing with many notable musicians such as Lex Lang (voice over/actor/musician), The Velvet Box, Ron Wikso (drummer with Foreigner, Cher, Richie Sambora), Chris Frazier (drummer for Steve Vai), Mark Zonder (drummer for Fates Warning), and Wade Biery (bassist/singer for Still, Leanne Rimes, Carlene Carter, Christopher Cross).
