About me:

PLEASE VISIT THE DAVEONBASS MESSAGE BOARD: http://daveonbass.com/yabb/YaBB.pl

I run a group for bass players here: groups.myspace.com/allbass

From 1997-2005 I played with Wisconsin cover band icons ROAD TRIP. In 2006 I was with BUZZ MEADE. And many, many bands prior to that including The Twistin' Egyptians, Jules Blattner, The Frogs, The Felons, The Coast, The Jets, The Barney Fife Band, The Rockin' Bones, The Housebreakers, Groovin' High, The Dave Chapin Show, Almanac, & Ripper Jack. I also have a punk/bubblegum side project called CHEW ON THIS! that never seems to get off the ground for very long. Right now I'm filling in on bass with SONIC CIRCUS.

I'm a vegetarian and a recovering alcoholic & addict since Nov 1, 1988. The official Dave On Bass site can be found here: www.daveonbass.com

I have a recording studio at my house (Dave's Place) - the only project recorded there is a children's CD written by Road Trip's female vocalist Amy Doty and featuring the other members of the band and a guest musician or two... It's called MURRY TRACKS (Dec 2005) and clips can be heard at the Dave's Place link above. I just use it for my own projects, don't have the time or inclination to do anything else right now.

Feel free to contact me about playing bass on any recording or side project, really - I'm always looking for different things to do musically.

Oh, one more thing - if you wanna post a humongous photo in the comments section promoting your next show please don't. I'll probably delete it as I'm not a huge fan of HUGE photos in the comments section or using that section for advertising. Post a bulletin instead, eh? Thanks!

"A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be."

Hey David - Thanks for the
friendship. It’s appreciated. There are wars taking place in every country in
the world … some are just more obvious. I have just released my new video and
song “Simpler Time”.  I hope you’ll pass
it along. Reach out and make a difference - the ripple will be felt around the
world.   It has to come from within each
of us. We can make a difference.  Wisdom!
