I am a professional Composer, Producer & Audio Engineer in Adelaide, SA. I have produced several soundtracks for tv ads, radio ads, documentaries & even websites
For a while in 2007 I was also a DJ & audio engineer at the Colonel Light/Heritage nightclub in my home town. I have worked on various video, tv commercials, website & digital media projects. From 1995 - 1999 I was involved in various radio programmes for a local community radio station. I am back again as an audio editor & currently am studying a Bachelor of Media.
Although I have been experimenting & producing electronic music since the 1980s In 2007 I had my first real "break" when Onion Mag, Fringe Benefits & Fresh FM put me on as ARTIST OF THE WEEK for two weeks running - http://www.onion.com.au/djprofile/9763. My second "break" occurred in 2009 when I was asked to do a remix for a Belgium trance act (see the blog regarding this). This track/coproduction/remix is called "My Imagination" & comes from Belgium & Australia!! I'm still unsigned so I'm still waiting for that lucky break :)
I mix my styles including neurofunk, drum & bass, darkstep, chemical beats, disco, rock, trance & more on many occasions ... or just a straight simple trance track with a 4/4 beat at 140bpm overdubbed with synths, pads & nicely sequenced drum patterns. The next project is the trip hop blues album with added guitar - what I call "Cybersynth Blues" or "Trip Hop Blues". I coined the sub-genre "funky-trance" in 2007.
