G'day troopers

For those who dont know who I am, here is a little brief run down.

It was the November 91' & I was a regular punter at a King Cross nightclub called the Colosseum, which was getting all it's tunes pumped out by an ex Ministry of Sound DJ called NIK. He showed me a thing or two which took a while to sink in but after getting a regular spot at a neighboring club called Paradise I started getting better.

The year was 92' & I finally was taken to my first rave which totally changed my perception of music. I fell in love with the early sounds of techno & made heaps of buddies like DJ's Attila & Abdul. During this time Attila & I used to run a little radio show on 88.9fm called Focal Point, we use to love pumping out all the old Italian House stuff but never knew if anyone was listening...

As the years went on I never really took a serious step with my DJ'in until 8 years later when I decided to put on an event called Capsulator, I did this with two other mates DJ Q'less & Fei Choi. We bombed out & lost close to $25,000 (putting on parties isn't always the way to go). I took a step back & decided baby steps was the way to go. Atomic Playground & the Atomic Pickle Crew was created & about a year later with my very talented girlfriend now wife DJ QT & close buddy Destiny formed a little DJ Trio called Team Rocket. The Atomic Pickle Crew was a big thing for not only me but most of the other members. In the group we had DJ's like Weaver, Suae, Tom E, Crystal, Destiny, QT, Peter & Myself who were all up n comers. Because of our unity & our commitment to each other most of us now are blessed to play at most parties. My personal story though continues with Team Rocket, three DJ's, two MC's & a chick :D

After years of putting on parties & supporting countless other up n comers. After years of sacrificing pay, playing early sets, getting knock backs & having to play back to back to back we finally started receiving recognition for our effort & was rewarded with regular sets at big parties such as Utopia, Two Tribes, Godspeed, Mayhem (QLD) & at Sydney's superclubs like Home, Cave & Gas. Also we (Team Rocket) got the opportunity to play alongside a whole list of producers from across the world like the UK boys, Hixxy, Scott Brown, UFO, Breeze, Styles, Dougal, Vinylgroover, Kevin Energy, Sharkey, Impact, Billy Bunter, Ultra Sonic, Slipmatt, Brisk, Ham, Storm, Marc Smith.... the list goes on... Hardcore's other bad boys Neophyte, Promo, Paul Elstak, Buzz Fuzz, Chosen Few, Endymion, Prophet, Rob Gee, Omar Santana, Dyewitness... the list goes on again.. plus other big trance/dance producers like Darude, Public Domain, Cosmic Gate, Armin Van Buuren, Mauro Picotto, Judge Jules, Junkie XL, Layo & Bushwacka, Speedy J, Meat Katie, Slam, Warp Brothers, Commander Tom, Dave Seamen.... the list goes on again hahaha we have really been blessed... (thank you to all the promoters & most importantly the ravers that support us each & ever time)

Along with my beautiful wife DJ QT we help organize Australia's biggest youth week free dance event 'shoreshocked' which get's around 10,000 punters each year. Our rave arena has gone from strength to strength with huge support from our buddies BLM & all the DJ's that help support out efforts..
