Thanks for the add, and for supporting, Marriage Equality in DC. Hope you will be able to join DC for Marriage and The Center on Thursday December 6th, for an important community forum on Marriage Equality in the District of Columbia. Out goals are for participants to: 1. Understand their current rights and responsibilities under DC domestic partnership laws. 2. Understand current domestic partnership legislation and what needs to happen to achieve full marriage equality for same-sex couples. 3. Participate in a community-wide discussion about when and how to push for marriage Equality in the District of Columbia.
This event is still in the planning stages, and your participation is welcome! Organizations that would like to sign on as sponsors of this event and individuals who would like to help plan this forum please send an e-mail to communityforum@dcformarriage.org.
Hello my good man! How goes everything?! DC is beauuuuutiful! You and Jordan should take a road trip to my side of the border some time and have some maple syrup!
Thanks for the add. You probably know that DC has an HIV rate higher than any state. What you may not know is that DC also has a higher HIV death rate than any state, partly because folks don't get tested and into treatment soon enough. If you want to get tested for HIV click here to use google maps and find an HIV testing site close to you. Be sure to check out: www.fighthivindc.org to learn more and find out how you can get involved.
And please help us meet our goal of expanding our presence on myspace by adding 1,000 new friends in July. Spread the word to your friends.
Davey! So, I gather that you are in DC these days. Congratualtions on being a grown-up and what not...I'm still working on it. Next time I am in DC visiting Amanda, we should get together. Hope to hear from you soon! The good old River Laurel just isn't the same without you!
