Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Dave Van Ronk, Baltimore Red, Mad Dog Marino, Robt. Johnson, Van Wagner, Randy Brendle, hundreds of unknown musicians on the road.
Dave bought his first guitar at the age of 17 and has spent the last 40 years pursuing his love of folk music. During that time he has accumulated a vast collections of stories and songs about his life on the road.
For the last 20 years Dave has traveled around the country attending festivals and selling leather goods. In his travels, he has had the opportunity to meet and play with many extraordinary performers. Playing mostly informal gatherings around the campfire, Dave only recently started performing for an audience
From folksy tunes about his childhood in the Pennsylvania farmland, to the stories drawn from his experiences on the road, Dave continues to weave a story about life on the road.
Not your typical Delta blues slide player, Dave combines Scruggs style picking with bluegrass licks to give his slide playing a unique flavor that is different from most players. His story songs reflect his life on the road.
With winter setting in Dave is holed up back at the farm with plenty of time to work on new songs. Most of the time is spent playing music, making new friends, and reconnecting with old ones. It won't be long until he is back on the road.

Thanks Dave ~ But the question is NOT where does the beauty come from or what is more beautiful, The Question is "Which is greater, the beauty or the one who beholds the beauty?" ~ ("Which is greater the gold or the altar which sanctifies the gold" Jesus) ~ A beautiful woman is nothing to the grasshopper in the field;
