We live in a world where many of us are at peace. There are no wars in our countries, no starvation across our lands and we believe we have a certain amount of freedom, provided mainly by the fact that we are rich and educated.
But there are many in the world who are not at peace. There are many who live in lands that are at war (Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Somalia etc) and many who starve in these lands (throughout Africa and other parts of the world) and who believe they are not free (the recent protests in Myanmar and Tibet for example).
Too often is the case that those who are at peace are keeping those who are not at peace in a state of unrest. Those who are rich strive only to become richer whilst making those who are poor even poorer.
We are all part of the same race, and to a greater degree we are all part of our world and we are all children of the universe. We should be working together for the peace of everyone, regardless of race, gender, beliefs, or anything. We need to realise that we as a people truly hold the power, and that government sand organisations are only precieved to have power because we give it to them.
We should stand together as one race, with out boders or divides, and refuse to fight the wars that they want us to fight. We need to realise that we are all the same, no matter what our differences are.
Wars will cease to exist, when we refuse to fight them.

I am influenced by the world around me. That which I see and that which I have not seen. My belief in equality and freedom and peace are the main basis for my songs. Music is such a powerful tool to reach out and touch people all over the world and unite them together. I hope to be able to use music to do this and bring a positive and influential messege to the world.
Musically I have been influeneced by Donovan, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Joan Baez, Tracey Curtis and Ian Adamson. More recently I have been listening alot to Seth Martin and Pagan Wanderer Lu.

Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?

On June 8, 1967, a date which will live in infamy, a United States ship, the USS Liberty, was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the State of Israel. Thirty-four American sailors died and 174 were wounded. There was no retaliation, no honest investigation, and no assistance from American forces. Israel got away with cold blooded murder.
On September 11, 2001, planes struck the two WTC towers, and shortly thereafter both towers fell. But did you know that a third large building also collapsed on September 11 at 5:20 in the afternoon and that this building, WTC 7, wasn't even hit by a plane? What could have caused such an unusual collapse, which had all the characteristics of a controlled demolition? Again, there has been no honest investigation.
If the Israelis got away with deliberately slaughtering innocent Americans on the USS Liberty, then what's to stop them from doing it again? What other terrorist crimes against humanity might they also have gotten away scot-free with? Google USS Liberty Dead in the Water, 911 Mysteries, and 911 Missing Links to learn more.
Thanks so very much for your friendship! Love, seek, and speak the truth!

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
