Cover Las Vegas beat, specifically sports betting with main emphasis on football, but cover all sports from a betting perspective, including horse racing
About me: I'm 42, but I'm trying to stay "hip" (does anyone say "hip" anymore?) by having a MySpace page as well as Facebook and Twitter.com/ViewFromVegas. ViewFromVegas.com is my website where you can get more of my Vegas point of view on the world of sports.
Who I'd like to meet: The other me in parallel universes along the space-time continuum...the one that represents what my life would have been like if I had made other professional/personal decisions along the way, such as when I was working for a regular daily newspapers and about to give up on horse racing because I was losing my ass (and making very little money as a copy editor) and went to the races anyway on July 20, 1990, and hit a $1,700 quinella on a $3 bet. Or where I'd be now if I had stayed in Phoenix in 1998 instead of moving to Las Vegas to be with my girlfriend Wendy. I am very happy with my family and my career, but I am curious what the other me would be doing now.
So, yeah. How bout' them Bears? I have this theory that if you replaced Rex Grossman with either Sigfried or Roy (which ever one had their head used as a snack)the Bears still would of played better.
