Style: Imperial Pilsner. Color: Golden. ABV: 10.8%
Bitterness: 40 IBU's.
this is a wheat-wine-ale (yep - like a barely-wine) it's brewed with a ton of honey which of course gives it a bit of a sweet taste. but at 40 ibu's, it's not too sweet imo for it's very unique style! a bit of clove in the aroma along with pretty big banana like most wheat ales, and yes even the classic 'bubblegum' in the finish as it warms up. some fruit also detected in aroma and taste, citrus i'm pretty sure. and man o man, the honey...lot's of honey! not an everyday sipper at 10.8 abv but then that's the way i like 'em! try it!

most people don't realize that 'beer,' not 'wine,' was the drink of kings! beer actually goes better with most cheeses than wine!
