Early on Stanley & Wyzard taught me to play with attitude and authority. Jamerson & Chuck Rainey influenced my groove. Niels Henning Orsted Pederson & Ray Brown showed me how to swing. Jaco showed what is possible. Michael Anthony and Cliff Williams taught me the power of a quarter note drone in rock. Chris Squire & John Entwhistle exhibited virtuosity in rock. Michael Rhodes & Glenn Worf schooled me that I better "bring it" to a Nashville session.
I play upright & electric bass in the Nashville area. Having worked with SugarLand in 2004-2006 I am currently off the road and concentrating on doing more session work. In addition to Randall Bramblett's "See Through Me" on Capricorn Records I have played on nearly 40 indie albums, dozens of TV commercials and recorded music for CMT & NPT. So if you need some bass played, let me know! :-)
TV Appearances: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, CMT Video Music Awards, Good Morning America, CMA Music Fest, the ACM Awards, Soundstage (on PBS), the CMA Awards, the RMA Awards, Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve.
Dropped Names: I have had the pleasure to record with musicians like Leonard Wolf (Dr. Hook), Jonathon Yudkin, Rob Hajacos, Jeff Sipe aka Apt. Q258, Scott Patton (SugarLand), Sean O'Rourke (ARU), Chris Young (Nashville Star), Yonrico Scott (Derek Trucks), Dan Tyminsky, Alison Brown, Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean), Britt Savage, Diana DeWitt (Neil Young) Gary Talley (BoxTops), B.B. You won't be sorry that you did and there's lots of great music all the rest of the evening, too.
Just trying to spread the word about her and her music because she's been very supportive of Forget-Me-Not.
Please re-post this to help spread the word and hope you're having a great week!
