About me: My name is David Whitman. I am the author of several books, including DEADFELLLAS, HARLAN, BODY COUNTING, and two SCARY REDNECKS AND OTHER INBRED HORRORS books (with Bram Stoker winning author Weston Ochse). I am finally back from the shadows after a much needed hiatus. During this hiatus I continued to write, but on my own terms. I would've come back sooner only last year someone tried to brain me with a lead pipe to the skull. All is good now, though I have a nice scar to show off right above my right eye. No brain damage (at least no APPARENT brain damage, heh). In the works, I have many new projects, including DEADFELLAS 2: Electric Boogaloo, DARK HOLLOW, and COCAINE BLUES. I will also be releasing a free brand-new SCARY REDNECKS story "The Running of the Fools" right here on this website.
