"Davey O.'s music is full of folksy tunes and gutsy introspection, all wrapped in a unique blend of blues, rock and country" - Caroline Phelan, ARTVOICE

"Raw, rustic, rootsy and melodic, Davey's songs endear themselves to you quickly. It's pretense-free Americana that's worthy of your attention" - Jeff Miers, The Buffalo News

"penetrating vocals that sing of the human condition" - Allen Foster, Songwriter's Monthly

"his genuine brand of Country-Folk has made him one of Western New York's favorite singer-songwriters" - Donny Kutzbach, ARTVOICE

"Davey's road weary voice fits his tales of life on the road perfectly" - Bob Silvestri, Best of WNY.com

"This 4 song EP (thirtyninedollarview) brings to the table four strong, convincing songs of love, hope and loss, with storytelling lyrics that are simple and direct, yet poetic...."

"Davey's voice has a bit of an edge, but remains soft and warm, with a timbre reminiscent of Don Henley...."

"My only complaint is that this disc is much too short. After four songs, it leaves this listener longing for a full length CD of the same quality. Please Davey, be kind and start right away." - Ronny Bervoets, Rootstime, Belgium

BIO:
Armed with a classic troubadour's Gibson guitar and a powerful-yet-sensitive voice (often compared to Don Henley, Jason Isbell, and Son Volt's Jay Farrar) singer-songwriter Davey O. has entertained attentive, diverse audiences throughout the Northeast and Midwest for nearly a decade. Davey's award-winning songs speak of love, hope, loss and the vulnerability of the human experience while offering an easy blend of Folk, Alt-Country and Americana. When performing alongside long-time guitarist/mandolinist Jeffrey Mikulski, Davey draws his audience in with infectious wit and warm banter.

Davey is currently completing his yet-to-be-named fifth release, while continuing to play approximately one hundred shows a year in coffeehouses, clubs, colleges, private house concerts and outdoor festivals. And... on a sunny summer day, Davey and Jeff have been known to busk on the streets of downtown Buffalo. (bio kindly written/edited by Sarah Craig, manager, Caffe Lena)

Hi Davey,
Thanks for the friendship. There's a wonderful melancholy to your music, the way your voice and words work together.
