Dave ("Zib", "Zibby", "Zibbo", "DZ", etc.) hails from Miami and has been playing bass since he was fifteen. He has played many styles including pop, disco, jazz, fusion, progressive rock, country, R&B, blues, etc. Although Dave has never "made it big", he has played with many people including Larry Dermer (Miami Sound Machine, Gloria Estefan), Glenn Tocci (George McCrae), Neil Cloud (Rabbit, Trevor Rabin, Peter Frampton), Barry Seiver (The Cichlids, Charlie Pickett, Savoy Brown), Mick Fazz (Critical Mass), Richard Huxen (Lift, Shiva Tribe), Charlie Pickett (Charile Pickett & The Eggs), Pete Signore (The Cichlids), Ruth King and Al Broomfield. In the early 1980's Dave's band ("Bugsy") was a sought-after dance band and worked all over the state of Florida. In the 1990's, Dave was the anchor of the highly popular Atlanta band "The Reasons". Once The Reasons split in 1996, Dave handled the bass duties on The Reasons' lead singer's (Rich Millett) releases.
You can get more information on Dave by visiting his website @ http://www.5stringbass.com.
Dave is available for session work in the SE U.S., and is currently enjoying holding down the bottom-end for one of Atlanta's premier jazz bands, The FlyCats.
