"The
Freedom To Rock" is about artistic freedom, in this case music. Where it's
fought for in a time when big business saw it as a lucrative product, thus
stunting the growth of creativity. A tale that is rewarding although
frustrating at times with big time dreamers and those not ready for change.
"Writing that rocks as hard as the music that's integral to the story." - Christine Ohlman

Thanks for showing up. Keegan's tends to be pretty hopping, as it has its own crowd and then we just add our fans to the mix. Such a great location so its easy to get people to show up there.
We're coming back to the 318 Cafe this Thu evening and I'm bringing all your CD's with, and probably 1 or 2 more. Plus I'm playing all electric banjo now, into a Fender amp, a combination that would just twist Robbie Robertson with envy and lust.
Thank you for putting us into your friend's list, next to the Stinson's - a great honour, that 's for sure. "Tim" from the Replacements is one of the reasons we started playing guitar!!! (we = Carl and I - I'm sure he will agree)!
Anyway, thank's again. And I hope that you will be "Pleased to meet" the sound of the Pets too.
Thanks for showing up. Hopefully they'll have us back. I almost emailed you on Saturday. Tim and I were last minute replacements for Paul Metsa at Famous Dave's in the 6-8pm slot. We're not as dramatic an act as a duo, but it went OK.
Happy birthday Dave Z. Naught but a few days remove from Levon's. I'm playing at the 400 Bar on Sunday with a side project, the Mississippi 7, and with Wolves & Ravens in River Falls, WI on Friday, June 13th. Check out our myspace site for other gigs closer to your neck of the woods.
HELLO MASTER Z... Welcome to myspace!!! Thanks for being such a great webmaster! Anyone reading this should see Dave's art: http://www. davezuck. com Once there please take time to click around for a wonderful treat. Let each of his works pull you in as you look closer and closer. But I must say that if a particular one tugs a little stronger or makes you hang out and look longer, BUY IT quickly before someone else does! Love you like crazy!!! xoxo
Dave Z!! As I live and breathe. Been to one of Levon's Rambles yet?
Come see Wolves & Ravens, to get your folk rock fix. And yes, Carrie does jump on stage from time to time or do recording sessions with the old man. She's a full grown, 24 year old woman now, with world traveler status, and even cooler chops on flute and whistles. I think you saw her half her life ago, and she wasn't bad then.
So you're webmaster to the greatest rock keyboardist ever. How cool is that! Do you get to hang with the Hudson's and commute to New York?
